Golf Tournaments Transportation
Golf Tournaments transportation hinges on three things: where large vehicles may legally drop and stage at the venue, how long our chauffeur waits during the game, and how post-game traffic affects the return. We get the stadium’s current bus policy, price the waiting time and set a firm meeting point before you compare anything.
Transport your group to golf tournaments and outings in executive style with our luxury fleet. Our golf tournament transportation includes sprinter vans, sedans, and coach buses for groups of all sizes. Arrive at the course relaxed and ready to tee off.

Page-specific considerations
Build the itinerary before comparing prices
Planning headcount
12–24 for hospitality; corporate 16–36.. We size from your confirmed passenger count plus two.
Timing
10–14 hours for dawn-to-dusk tournament days. We quote the schedule you describe rather than a minimum block.
Timing pressure
PGA Tour spring–fall; majors (Masters, U.S. Open, PGA, Open) compress peak windows.
Lead time
4–12 weeks; majors far earlier.
Coordination note
Tournament shuttles sometimes separate from private charter — verify if private buses are allowed on course roads.
Specific to this event
What golf tournaments work demands that other trips do not
Golf transport comes in two shapes. One is a group going to watch a professional tournament, where the course runs a shuttle system from designated lots and private vehicles are directed to them; we take the group to the lot, the course moves them inside, and the pickup is from the same lot at an agreed time. The other is a group of players going to an outing, which is a coach or a shuttle with a luggage bay for the clubs and a tee time that cannot slip.
For an outing, give us the tee times and the number of players, and we set the pickup so the first group is on the range forty minutes before. Clubs travel in the bay, not the cabin. For a tournament, we check the course’s transport plan for that week, because it changes by day and by gate.
On the day
How a golf tournaments trip actually runs
Most large venues route buses to a dedicated lot or charter drop lane, often on the opposite side of the ground from the main car parks, and many require a bus permit bought in advance. We get the current policy from the venue rather than assuming last season still applies, because these arrangements change. Once we know the drop point we walk your group through it before the day: where they get off, which gate that is nearest, and exactly where the vehicle will be sitting afterwards.
On the clock, golf tournaments charters usually run 10–14 hours for dawn-to-dusk tournament days. We quote the schedule you describe rather than a minimum block, and if the route will not fit the hours you have asked for we say so at the quoting stage.

Sizing
How much vehicle 12 to 36 golf tournaments passengers need
Most golf tournaments groups we carry land between 12 and 36 passengers, and that spread crosses a real dividing line in the fleet. For about 12 people we would send a 10- to 14-passenger executive Sprinter or a 12- to 14-passenger stretch limousine. The Sprinter gives you forward-facing seats, an aisle and floor space for bags; the limousine gives you a lounge layout and almost no luggage room. For 36, it is a 34- to 45-passenger party bus, or a 40-passenger coach if the trip involves luggage or a long highway leg. Above about thirty-five passengers the choice is really a comfort question: lounge seating and open floor, or forward-facing reclining seats with underfloor bays.
Read 36 as a maximum, not a comfort rating. A vehicle rated for 36 seats 36 adults shoulder to shoulder with nothing on the floor; put the same golf tournaments group in coats with bags and equipment and it feels full at about 31. We size from your confirmed headcount plus two, so the friend who joins the night before has a seat.
Bags quietly decide the answer on golf tournaments runs. Party buses and stretch limousines have nowhere for suitcases, cases or equipment except between people; Sprinters, shuttles and motorcoaches have rear cargo areas or underfloor bays that swallow them without costing seats. Tell us what is traveling and we steer you to a vehicle with bays even if the seat count alone pointed elsewhere.
For this event we most often end up with executive van or mini-coach. Course parking and shuttle integration — confirm staging lot rules.

Access
Loading, staging and venue access for golf tournaments
Tailgating changes the vehicle question entirely. If the group intends to set up in the lot, the vehicle needs a space it is allowed to occupy for hours, which usually means a bus permit rather than a car pass, and it turns a drop-and-return into a stay-with-the-group plan. That is a different quote and a different chauffeur schedule, so tell us at the start rather than as an afterthought.

Risk
What goes wrong on golf tournaments trips, and how we prevent it
On golf tournaments trips the problems we see most are weather holds/delay restarts and remote lots require long walks from drop. None of them is hard to fix a week out and all of them are expensive to fix on the day, so this is the list we work through with you while we build the quote.
Weather holds/delay restarts
We plan around it when we time the route, and we tell you where it bites before you commit rather than after.
Remote lots require long walks from drop
Our chauffeur is briefed on it before the trip, and your named contact has the number to call if it starts to happen anyway.
The group scattering after the whistle
One meeting point and one time, agreed before anyone leaves the vehicle, and our chauffeur parked exactly where the group was told he would be.
Before you call
What to have ready when you call us about golf tournaments
None of this has to be final; rough answers let us size a vehicle and price a schedule on the first call. 4–12 weeks; majors far earlier.
Date and confirmed headcount
Most golf tournaments groups run 12–24 for hospitality; corporate 16–36. Tell us where yours sits, counting the people actually traveling, and we size from that figure plus two.
Every stop in order
Starting with the first pickup address, with roughly how long you intend to spend at each. This is what turns a wish list into a timed itinerary.
The hours you expect to need
10–14 hours for dawn-to-dusk tournament days. If your plan is longer or shorter, say so; we quote the hours you describe.
Luggage, gear and equipment
Bag count and anything oversized. It decides whether you need a vehicle with bays.
Accessibility needs
Step assistance, a lift-equipped vehicle, or a seat someone needs to be in.
Your entry gate
Which gate your seats use — it decides the best drop point in the charter lot.
Tailgate or not
Whether the vehicle stays with the group in the lot or leaves and returns.
Timing
When golf tournaments demand peaks
PGA Tour spring–fall; majors (Masters, U.S. Open, PGA, Open) compress peak windows. On those dates the popular sizes go first, minimum blocks get longer, and the freedom to move your pickup by half an hour disappears. If your date sits inside that window, hold the vehicle first and refine the route afterwards.
