Limousines

A stretch limousine is an extended sedan or SUV with a low entry, side-facing bench seating and a formal exterior, seating 6 to 20 depending on the chassis. It is the right vehicle for arrivals, weddings, proms and airport transfers for a small group. It is the wrong one for standing, dancing or a group with real luggage.

Limousine covers a lot of ground: stretch sedans, SUV stretches and Sprinter conversions all get the name. Passengers and luggage have to be counted together on this class, and door height matters more than most people expect when the group is in gowns and heels.

Not sure this is the right class? Send us the headcount, the stops and the time you need to arrive. If a different vehicle would serve the night better, we will say so and quote that one instead.

Limousine questions

Direct answers about capacity, rules and fit.

How many passengers fit in a stretch limousine?

Ours seat from 8 to 22 depending on the chassis. For adults in formal wear, plan on about two fewer than the rated number: gowns and jackets take room that the capacity rating does not account for, and the far corner of a bench is a genuinely awkward place to get out of in heels.

Is a limousine cheaper than a party bus?

Not automatically. Date, minimum hours and market move a total more than the class does, and a peak Saturday stretch can price above a mid-week party bus. Send us the same route and the same hours and we will quote both so you are comparing like for like.

Does a limousine have luggage space?

Less than the length of the car suggests. A stretch sedan boot is largely fuel tank and stretch structure; SUV stretches do better; some specialty builds have essentially none. If your group is flying with luggage, we will quote a Sprinter or a mini-coach alongside the limo rather than let you find out at the curb.
