Shuttle Buses

A shuttle bus is a cutaway or mid-size bus with forward-facing seats for roughly 20–40 passengers, often with a rear luggage area and optional wheelchair lift. It suits wedding guest loops, hotel-to-venue transfers, corporate shuttles and airport groups; it is not built for onboard celebrations.

Shuttle buses are the forward-facing, practical middle ground between a Sprinter and a full coach. This guide explains the category; the example inventory on this site does not currently include a dedicated shuttle unit, so photos are not shown.

What is the difference between a shuttle bus and a coach?

Shuttles are mid-size with forward-facing seats and limited storage; coaches are full-size highway buses with luggage bays, reclining seats and usually a restroom. Shuttles are often quoted for loops; coaches for long routes.

Do shuttle buses have wheelchair lifts?

Some do. Lift-equipped units must be requested specifically and confirmed in writing, including the number of securement positions.

Why are there no shuttle photos on this page?
