What the Minimum-Hours Question Builder computes, and what it cannot
What it computes
Pick your event date and trip type and the builder produces a list of the minimum-hours questions that apply to it: whether a minimum booking applies on that date, whether garage-to-garage time counts, how time is rounded, how split service (a drop-off and a later pickup) is billed, and what the overtime rate and increment are. It deliberately does not state a minimum.
When to use it
Use it before you request a quote for a peak date, a holiday or a short trip. Minimums rise on prom nights, New Year's Eve and summer Saturdays, and a two-hour transfer on one of those dates may be quoted as a longer block; knowing the questions to ask means the written quote answers them the first time.
What it cannot tell you
It cannot tell you the minimum for your date, because minimum billable time varies by vehicle, market, date and event, and a tool that printed one would be guessing. We answer each question on the list in writing for your itinerary, and you should expect the same from anyone else you compare.
