What the Capacity Finder computes, and what it cannot
What it computes
Enter your group size and the finder screens the vehicle categories whose planning capacity covers it, showing for each how much of the vehicle your group fills as a percentage and how many seats are left over. A group of twenty-six on a forty-passenger bus is sixty-five percent full with fourteen seats spare; on a thirty-passenger bus it is eighty-seven percent full with four.
When to use it
Use it when the headcount is firm and you want to see the room-to-spare trade-off rather than a list of names. Perimeter seating is measured to a narrow shoulder width, so the comfortable number on a party bus is noticeably below the rated one; the utilization figure makes that visible before you book.
What it cannot tell you
Category capacity is not a promise about a specific bus, and the finder cannot tell you the legal seated capacity, seating layout, luggage space or accessibility of the one that will arrive. Those are confirmed on the vehicle we name for you and written into the agreement.
